Ceramic Studio.
Line, shape, colour and texture from things found, collected and photographed on the beach provide inspiration to produce individual and tactile stoneware pieces. Hand building techniques give me the freedom to create more organic forms and ‘torn’ edges. I experiment with a variety of clay bodies and found materials combined with under glaze colour, porcelain slip and oxides. My work ranges in size from very small bowls that can be held in the hand, to larger vessels and cylinders.
