Our new website puts inforamtion about the Trust in one central place. Our aim is to grow the site into a vital source of information for all things Sanday that we hope every member of the community and vistors to the island will benefit from. The new site is for a new decade and marks a relaunch for the Trust, putting the community and communication at the heat of everything we do.
What we do is all for you, our community
The Island Plan
A the heart of the Trust is the Island plan. The plan sets out what are believed to be the future needs and challenges of the island.
Grants
We can provide small grants (up to £250) to help fund local businesses ideas, communiy projects, groups and clubs.
Services
We run some of the key services to the island. These include the Heritage cente, Ranger services, Heilsa Fjold and Drop In services for the Youth.
Funding
We are always on the look out for funding that can be used to benefit Sanday. These may be in the form of a short term projects, others are long term ventures.
Development
The role of every Development Trust is to enable to community to take on development projects. From renovating old buildings to buildingnew care facilities.
